From the President’s desk
It is a great honour for me to take over as the President of IADVL Maharashtra.
It is a responsibility which I look forward to carrying out with sincerity & dedication. Our state branch has one of the highest numbers of registered members in the country and we as an organization, have been regularly carrying out numerous academic activities throughout the year at various colleges, institutes, city chapters along with Quarterly Scientific meetings.
Our speciality is an extremely dynamic one with many upcoming subspecialities and ever-expanding advances under its curriculum. My vision is to strengthen and organise these academics all across Maharashtra. It is my humble request to each one of you to actively participate in all academic activities run by the state association as well as those conducted at City chapters.
I would like to see the younger generation and postgraduates come forward to work for our association.
The menace of quackery in our field is very rampant and our branch is doing their part in association with IADVL National to curb this. However, it will require participation of our state members and we should resolve to fight this in a collective manner.
Please do not hesitate to share your ideas with me or any of the EC members which in turn will help to strengthen our association. And above all, as members of an esteemed organization, we should work together to take IADVL Maharashtra to greater heights.
